Bethesda has said it is working with Sony to increase this limit. Sony has limited fan creations on PS4 to 900MB, while Microsoft enables mods up to 2GB in size on Xbox One. The publisher is not providing a new date for mods on PS4, but we can safely assume it is working with Sony to resolve any issues. Despite Bethesda's announcement that the release date for Fallout 4 mods on PlayStation 4 would occur earlier this June, players have been kept waiting ever since.
